Jim, What a compelling moment! The human figure is placed in a perfect spot and the detail and monochrome color make it a great shot. #3380Jim F. Caldwell February 06, 2002
Thank you Donna - I took this early one morning a couple weeks ago. The next day I was told my company was downsizing and that my job had been eliminated. I hope I am "on the right track" - the camera was set on a car window mount, and that's me on the tracks! #5292Carl J. Morrison February 06, 2002
Jim,I looked at your gallery...nice work. Saw this, or similar, photo there. Are you inserted digitally in the above picture, or was this a timed shot or by someone else. It's nice to have something on the tracks for the leading lines of the tracks and the distant vegatation to lead the eye to.
I was raised on a farm with the B & O running across our back property line so I've seen this type of scene many times as I walked to school...plenty of time for thoughts. #5294
