Princess Strikes a Pose
Uploaded: April 09, 2004 10:27:52
Princess gives me a regal look after winning an award in an Aussie show-dog competition last Sunday. Discovered Princess and many other awesome Aussies while taking a Sunday afternoon drive through rural Ventura County. Happy Good Friday, everyone!

I just drove through Ventura and Oxnard for the first time last week, Patricia, that's some lovely landscapes/beaches (and show dogs!) you have there!! #471492Patricia Marroquin April 10, 2004
Thank you so much, Murry, Carolyn, Colette, Ellen, Bill, Barbara, Stephen, Terry, Kristen, Darren and Carol.Carolyn, besides good looks Princess had such personality! Bob would go nuts over her.
Barbara, unfortunately this isn't my pooch. If we had Princess, she'd drive my Aussie, Flyer, crazy! LOL!
For those who don't know, Princess is what's called a Blue Merle type of Aussie. They've got the blue eyes and rainbow-like coloring. Our Flyer is a Tri -- he's got black, white and red coloring, not the exotic look of Princess.
Carol, so glad you ventured through these parts recently. I do love the diversity of environments here -- the ocean, the mountains and foothills, the farm lands growing flowers, fruits and vegetables. It's heaven for a photographer! #471621

Thank you so much, Nobi! She was a real doll. At one point she climbed up on a table and was trying to get at the bowl of candy that was on it. Very cute. :-) #473049Terry R. Hatfield May 13, 2004
