Seeing the fins on the bottom of the surfboard usually means some kind of acrobatic move, or the surfboard is floating upside down after an unsuccessful acrobatic move.

Yes, Robert, that is indeed a thruster. I was shooting surfing 3 years before I learned that term. Colleen, surfboards can have no fins up to 5 fins these days, but the three fin thruster is very common for shortboards like this one. Thank you both for dropping by.Nichelle Russell May 19, 2008
